As an environmental scientist and a surfer, I was keen to find a family-friendly retreat that aligned with my values, and the Refugio turned out to be just that. Traveling with my wife and young daughter, we appreciated how accommodating the hotel was for families. Our little one, just under six, loved the flat-screen TV and the selection of DVDs they provided, giving us some well-deserved downtime after our day's adventures. One of the highlights was the rock climbing options available on-site. It was a fantastic way to get everyone involved and was suitable for different skill levels. As a family, we found it exhilarating to tackle the climbing walls together, fostering a sense of teamwork and a bit of healthy competition. Another plus was the welcoming vibe that permeated the hotel, making it easy for us to feel at home. I'm glad we made this choice for our family vacation.
